Notification: Onsite Service Still Available from MasonLift Ltd
Amid the COVID-19 pandemic response, many local governments are issuing “stay at home” orders with exceptions only being made for “essential businesses”— generally being defined as those industries and types of work whose incapacitation or destruction would have a debilitating effect on security, economic security, public health or safety, or any combination thereof.
Toyota Material Handling (TMH), MasonLift’s OEM, has been identified by the State of Indiana where they are headquartered as an “essential business” because of their critical role in manufacturing products (namely forklifts and other material handling equipment) essential to supply chains providing vital products and industries.
As of the date of this memo, British Columbia has not yet provided a list of “essential businesses”. However, Mason Lift is following the lead of other Toyota dealers in Ontario, where they are a service provider to their customers in the essential business category. The province of Ontario has issued a list of Essential Workplaces to include businesses in the supply chain, food services, wholesaling, telecommunication, transportation, manufacturing and production. By these definitions, we believe that Mason Lift has a critical role in servicing these products and keeping the equipment running smoothly for such customers to minimize further disruptions in supply chains providing vital products and industries.
As a result of these “essential business” classifications, we are able to continue servicing your equipment onsite as normal, or in accordance with any adjusted protocols your organization may have put in place due to the crisis.
As always, TMH and MasonLift are committed to helping you and all of our customers carry the load. Please do not hesitate to let us know how we can best service your equipment and serve you during the COVID-19 pandemic.
